Associated documents are important instructions and facts about WOODSAFE® fire-treated wood. These documents, including certifying documents, are important to take note of in order to minimize the risk of incorrect installation, maintenance and, not least, to prevent financial damage, as well as to collect the documents for final inspection in order to receive a final report.

Specifying, procuring and using fire-resistant wood is more complicated than using ordinary wood. The prerequisite for achieving the current fire class is based on compliance with the current conditions at the time of type testing. When the project is to be handed over to the developer for a final notice, it is required that all measures covered by a start notice have been fulfilled. In order to receive a final notice, the developer must show the associated documents that apply to the measure according to the permit, the control plan, the start notice. In cases where the choice of make is not the same as described in the start notification, the associated documents and certifying documents must be proven to be equivalent. Otherwise, the final notice can be withheld pending a new building permit.

In order to receive a final notice, the developer must prove that all requirements that apply according to the building permit, control plan, start notice and/or supplementary conditions have been met.

In addition to associated documents, you need a delivery certificate, production documentation, performance declaration and relevant certificates in order to receive a final decision from the building committee. Delivery certificate and production documentation must be handed over to you by your supplier of WOODSAFE® fire-impregnated wood.

Fire class SP FIRE 105 and utility class EN16755 EXT

Requirement to place fire protected wood on the market is that the product is CE marked. When it comes to facade cladding, the CE marking is a basic requirement, while it is the type approval certificate above and the performance declaration from your supplier that constitutes the documentation requirement.
