Since the company was founded in 1990, we have developed our own process technology, production equipment, and manufacturing methods to deliver durable, predictable, and verified fire protection solutions. Every step of our production process is optimized to meet the construction industry's demanding requirements for quality, long-term performance, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Production is carried out under continuous third-party supervised Factory Production Control (FPC). Since 2008, Woodsafe has held a Swedish Type Approval in accordance with the Swedish Building Regulations and subsequently became the first manufacturer in Europe to CE certify fire-retardant treated wood under the harmonized European standard. Our operations are managed through an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and we have been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal in recognition of our long-term and systematic commitment to sustainability.

Today, Woodsafe contributes to more than 1,300 construction projects each year across Europe and international markets. Our deliveries range from award-winning timber architecture and high-rise timber buildings to public buildings, transport infrastructure, and other projects where verified fire performance, documented quality, and long-term durability are essential.

Our reference projects include Mjøstårnet, Gardermoen Pier North, Ilulissat Icefjord Centre, and Cederhusen, together with hundreds of other projects demonstrating how fire-retardant treated wood enables safe, sustainable, and contemporary timber architecture around the world.
