The products and services provided by Woodsafe Timber Protection AB are described and supplied strictly in accordance with applicable certificates, classification reports and/or third-party assessments, including but not limited to Field of Application (FoA).

All documentation relating to fire performance, durability, and other properties is strictly limited to the tested and assessed configurations as defined within the relevant certification documentation. Any deviation from such configurations may affect performance and falls outside the responsibility of Woodsafe Timber Protection AB.

Images, reference projects, and visual materials presented by Woodsafe Timber Protection AB are for illustrative purposes only and are intended solely to demonstrate examples where products have been used in projects associated with relevant certification documentation. Such materials shall not be interpreted as verification or guarantee of the overall performance of any specific building, façade system, or construction.

It is explicitly stated that the overall façade system design, including but not limited to substructures, fixings, insulation materials, surface coatings, balconies, railings, glazing systems, or other external components, is not covered by Woodsafe Timber Protection AB’s Field of Application (FoA), unless explicitly stated in the corresponding certification documentation.

Furthermore, wood is a natural material with inherent variability and characteristics. The presence of resins, extractives, and other natural substances may result in bleeding, discoloration, or other visual changes over time. Atmospheric conditions such as UV exposure, precipitation, temperature fluctuations, and humidity, as well as biological factors such as mould growth, may affect the appearance and surface properties of the material. These effects are beyond the control and responsibility of Woodsafe Timber Protection AB.

Painting and surface treatment, whether opaque coatings, stains, or pigmentation, are outside the control of Woodsafe Timber Protection AB and are not covered by its certifications or assessments unless explicitly stated otherwise. Such treatments shall be carried out in accordance with applicable system specifications and the coating manufacturer’s instructions. It is the responsibility of the client and/or contractor to ensure correct application, compatibility, maintenance, and quality assurance of both the substrate and execution.

This also applies to the selection, specification, and installation of fastening systems such as screws, nails, clips, as well as drainage and detailing components, which must be designed and installed in accordance with project documentation and industry best practice. These components and their performance are not covered by Woodsafe Timber Protection AB’s Field of Application (FoA), unless explicitly stated.

Responsibility for design, system integration, specification, and execution of building elements and complete systems lies with the relevant project stakeholders, including but not limited to the developer, designers, and contractors.
